Project overview

The development at 107–109A Hendon Avenue comprises a 9-lot residential subdivision within an established urban area, delivering new housing supported by upgraded three waters infrastructure. Calthom provided civil engineering design, construction observation, and project completion services, supporting the delivery of the subdivision and associated works. During construction, discrepancies in existing wastewater infrastructure records—stemming from previous works associated with the Waterview Tunnel—introduced unforeseen challenges. Our involvement included managing these complexities on site and working through the necessary coordination and approvals to achieve a compliant and successful outcome.

Karaka Village Development

100 Carbine Road

The redevelopment at 100 Carbine Road delivers a substantial new industrial facility, including a 13,000m² warehouse and associated office space designed to support heavy manufacturing use. Located alongside active industrial sites, the project required a considered approach within a constrained brownfield environment. Calthom provided civil engineering design and construction observation services, responding to challenging ground conditions and the presence of contaminated materials encountered during early works. Our involvement focused on delivering practical and resilient infrastructure solutions, including stormwater management, bulk earthworks, and three waters design, ensuring the site performs effectively for long-term industrial use.

Takanini Village

Takanini Village forms part of a growing town centre hub, delivering commercial infrastructure to support retail, dining, and community-focused spaces within an active urban environment. The works involved redevelopment within an established site, including new carparking, servicing, and integration with existing buildings and infrastructure. A key component of the project was the diversion of an existing deep sewer to enable the planned development. Calthom provided civil engineering design and construction observation services, supporting the delivery of practical and well-coordinated infrastructure. Our involvement focused on three waters, bulk earthworks, and site servicing, ensuring a functional and robust outcome within a constrained brownfield setting.
